I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Effervescence of Dawn
Dawn is a great lady of whom my life is enriched.
She is a C N A and one of the best we have at Cherry Point Bay.
Pride is not a part of her makeup but is far from her.
She has a love for her fellowman to tirelessly work to help the ones she can.
I am one of the recipients of her caring and love for another.
I offer this poem to have you know the value I see in Dawn.
For she is a real treasure of the ones who are here.
She has a heart for the profession she has embarked.
It is a joy to see her day in and day out and know I am a recipient of her grace.
May we never have to say our goodbyes to her for if we would have to then a most invaluable part of the facility will be gone.
May you wish to remain here and work with the ones you do everyday and for us you take care of may we recognize your worth to all of us.
