'' You Can Now Leave The Past Behind ''
If you're feeling down ask yourself why,
What exactly is it that's making you cry,
If it's that bad that you want to die,
Then it's time to open your mind.
There is nothing in life that can't be sorted,
Regardless of how badly it's contorted,
If your recovery is being thwarted,
How is your problem defined?
We are all individuals who can and can't cope,
Some will thrive while others will mope,
You must never forget there is always hope,
A gift that is much maligned.
At the end of a tunnel there will always be light,
With a little help you can make it shine bright,
Only you from within can make things right,
Though it's to progress you must be inclined.
First you must learn to contain the source,
Negativity in life is a destructive force,
Cast it aside and you can change course,
Assistance must not be declined.
There'll be times in life, which are terribly cruel,
But you must never let your depression rule,
You remaining positive is a powerful tool,
To fight adversity we are designed.
Your life is truly a wondrous creation,
The very thought should fill you with elation,
That is when you will feel that sensation,
You'll no longer feel confined.
Make this the start of that brand new day,
Feeling down in the dumps will no longer hold sway,
From now you alone have the final say,
