Above phrase taken from Psalm 25:15
Jumped off the page to me it seemed
Added insight found in a commentary
Two words worth seeing more clearly
Let me illustrate it in a very practical way
We can relate to on our journey each day
Words for consideration are pluck and net
Spiritual lessons to help us not easily forget
Plucking is to pull with effort or sudden force
Losing baby teeth nature usually takes its course
Removing wisdom teeth really fits the definition
Surgery may be necessary to avoid complication
Net as used in the Bible symbolizes temptation
Makes sense when you consider its definition
Mesh material made from threads or wires
Wire is knotted or twisted like Satan conspires
Back to the verse with both concepts in mind
Look at pluck out of the net and truth we find
When God pulls or releases us from temptation
Pain may result by His loving discipline in action
This is often the case when temptation turns to sin
Yes, the blood of Jesus forgives and purifies within
There are still consequences that occur as a result
Even harm caused to a person who we were at fault
It may be a repeated sin that becomes so engrained
God uses trials in our life until our attention is gained
Sometimes change starts at our lowest point of despair
Painful as it is to us God speaks very clearly right there
John 10 says no one can pluck believers out of His hand
Not even Satan through his craftiness and deceitful plans
Have you been rescued by the lifeboat of Jesus and found
Or are you lost at sea trapped by Satan and almost drowned
John 10:27-29 (KJV) 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which
gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
