Scantily clad it makes its way
Upon a page or screen this day
It bares the deepest part of one
Naked in truth as wills are done
A soul that needs to grieve and cry
A broken heart that tried and tried
The simple thing they bare upon
A moment lived of things bygone
Here a naked write shall spill
A conscience weighed of bitter pills
Of love and war and so much more
Stripped down and out ones inner core
No need to color things of gray
Or edit thoughts that in you play
Just write freely and spell it so
Someone like you can get to know
You who speak without forked tongue
You who tells of time not done
As if sentenced without reprieve
You’re best given, someone deceived
Truth be told you may hold back
This naked write of heart ransacked
To play and live another day
To change the end and have your way
Wait no more, prepare yourself
To bring to light what just might help
Bringing an end to what began
Your naked write of life once damned
