no more autumn leave swirling with flair
the winds are gone, silence takes the air
rustlings of leaves no longer there
The winter rose, it now does hide
shedding its petals under winter skies
beauty lost in destined seasonal tides
as mother nature forever abides
The dance is over, my heart does care
the winter chill, now floating in the air
freezing the earth with rest everywhere
as nature's process of needful repair
