Enjoying A Sunday Afternoon At Home

As a child going to church, I couldn't wait to get back home and be with my parents.
For the time I was going my parents didn't have a church of their own as I did.
There was a Gospel minister on TV that was proclaiming the Word that I wanted to see.
It was a comforting time for me to see this minister proclaiming the Word.
The meal Mom had prepared was soon ready and then came the time between church during the morning and the services that night.
All was a  wonderful time for me as I remember the joy of being in church most of my teenage life.
There was  some sorrow of people passing away that I had known but it was a time of reflection as I continued to enjoy a Sunday afternoon at home.
Joy encompasses my being as I remember the love I had experienced by being in church.
Was a special time for me in my younger days where today I don't even attend church anywhere.
Praise the Lord for the lessons I did learn while  a teenager and the same for myself when I became an adult.
