My baby my child in the battle fields
So far out of reach.
Dangers of all kinds all around,
Guns weapons of master destructions dynamites on the ground,
In a far away land where my arms can't reach to hold you tight,
My heart beats so fast tears flowing down my face””
Another day another battle to fight,
Holding on with every bit of faith inside.
God reach out across the universe in the war zone
Cover my baby my child bring him safe where he belongs at home,
On every channels news coverage terror and counts.
Fire fumes covering the skies valiant soldiers have died,
Hero's angels of love in disguise another plane down
Oh Lord my knees shivers my body faints my spirit morns
Is my baby alive or gone?
No way for me to know despair sets in my strength is gone.
Lord no one understand the pain the anguish the sleepless nights
Of a mother's love for her child now a soldier in Death Valley,
At war across the universe out of sight,
Longing to see her baby her angel to say I love you
Everything will be all right.
To hear a voice as she calls out to shield an embraced
All she can do is stare and gaze pray to see her angels face.
To pray night and day her face swollen from the tears,
Days seems endless every seconds fills her heart with fears,
She must hold strong keep the faith
Only God can hold her and truly understand her agony pain
Only he can prevail.
A mother's love for her child her baby her angel gift from God above
The closest on earth to God's heart and love.
Now a soldier serving in honor a country they are so proud off
In the valley shadow of death and war
This mother's plea before God above let there be peace oh Lord.
