Daily life is often lived in the unknown
Temp job hours vary going up and down
Daylight savings time is coming around
Work may increase and hours rebound
Why should we be concerned or worry
About work issues that are so contrary
Whether permanent hire or temporary
We have jobs to do for the company
Co-worker training for a new position
Needs encouragement during transition
Hours added to half day without options
Resulting in sudden childcare decisions
Instead of asking when we will be trained
Realize any of us might be next one picked
It all takes time to set up and be scheduled
Trust God for His plan to be accomplished
Management’s focus now and first priority
Relates to SE branch transfer to our facility
It is hard for us to fathom that responsibility
With changes that will result to the company
One temp already left ahead of this process
True reason why is not any of our business
But our supervisor was upset by it nonetheless
It affects the work flow and planning regardless
Lord, develop in me a greater attitude of patience
You accept me just as I am not by my performance
Unlike the world who seeks approval and rank status
Help me trust You more through every circumstance
Thank You for the extra hours you provided Tuesday
Which already made up for the unpaid bank holiday
Then added blessing of working four hours Saturday
I praise You for supplying all my needs day by day
Saturday after two hours sent home from work early
Considering another blessing this week it is all okay
Supervisor gave our dept $20 gas cards on Tuesday
For extra work in SE branch from ice storm two days
Still using my same as free gas that helps in a big way
