Slo mo _

Gravity falls above our heads, cause and
effect slows as it's impact slowly sheds.
Time stands still as we approach slow this kind
slide on by deep within, to bend your mind.

Imagine a world slowed to some degree
would our minds render down on bended knee
to fashion reactions formed with stretched brains
would sloths be sprinters with shorter life spans.

Perhaps we are in a state of grace, as
life flies on by right in front of our face.
Sped up matter as gravity takes hold
details selfish grip kept out in the cold.

Contemplate the mind nourished in depth
detached from the raw detail loose thought sheds
released from matter's so seductive pace
evolution's path for the human race.
