wordrider's world

Less of a man

Coming back home from this war,
I knew I wouldn't get far.
It doesn't seem right,
I must not fight.

To stay,
Not to stay,
To lock myself in my room,
Don't want my life to zoom.

People I can't let see,
What my life will be.
I am on this crazy ride,
That is driven by my pride.

Seeing my friends weren't there,
So, with them, I can't share.
What happen to me,
The things I heard or did see.

If my memories, they only knew,
Not all, maybe just a few.
Maybe they would understand,
That it didn't make me less then a man.
