Your mind must be clear,
With love and not fear;
Ready for action,
And satisfaction.
Place your confidence,
Setting precedence;
On the Holy Word,
As read and not heard.
Because of the ear,
Cannot always hear;
What the lips and tongue,
Through the air has flung.
Kindness from God brings,
At when His Word clings;
Children who obey,
Worry not to stray.
You have desires,
That will light fires;
If you satisfy,
Then you will deny.
Did you know better,
Keep to the letter;
Live as God states,
To walk through the gates.
God called you holy,
Enabled to see;
Wisdom and insight,
To walk in the light.
So follow the Lamb,
Because of I Am;
And because of Him,
You will not feel grim.
