Your sins are forgiven through Christ,
Paid because He was sacrificed;
So show your appreciation,
To become a new creation.
Christ has existed from the start,
And you should know it now by heart;
Of the victory we have won,
The war over the evil one.
You have to know God the Father,
Jesus Christ as our Brother;
As well as the Holy Spirit,
Making the three in one circuit.
His Word is living within you,
Continue to stay strong and true;
So do not love the world you see,
Soon a new home for you and me.
Because this world has no known cure,
For keeping your ears and eyes pure;
It corrupts both the heart and mind,
Making you rude no longer kind.
For anyone who loves this place,
Cannot feel the Father embrace;
With His pure love at times of stress,
That others who just might transgress.
Not everything the world gives,
Has peace and comfort as one lives;
Lust of the flesh and of the eyes,
Only from Satan in disguise.
The world with evil desires,
Is pleasure that just acquires;
Can never give you any cure,
Coming from the light that is pure.
