the rabbit and the badger

there was a little rabbit he lived in a hole
always very happy such a friendly soul
running round the fields having lots of fun
bathing in the grass underneath the sun
one day in the field he heard a little cry
coming from an hedge that was near by
rabbit he got closer to see what it could be
there he  saw a badger  trying to break free
the little chap was stuck in the hedges gap
to big to get through he was in a trap
rabbit he was clever and knew what to do
he chewed around the branches so badger could get through
badger he was free now he could get away
said thank you to the  rabbit and they began to play
now the best of friends they will always be
living in the wild living life so free
