there was a little egg the poor chap was shaking
stood in boiling water his poor shell was breaking
then came in a spoon and gently pulled him out
when across his head it gave him such a clout
now his head was bashed with a great big hole
sadly up to heaven gone now as his soul
life it can be cruel when your just an egg
you wouldnt get no mercy even if you beg
