I read her obituary in the paper today
Beloved to many, but loved by few
Full of life, and was happy as far as we knew
It runs in the family, that's what everyone says
I heard she didn't leave her house the last few weeks
Just sat and waited on heaven knows what
It's just so sad, one who had everything,
Did anyone hear the shot?
Written near by was the words "Thorns of Hate"
No one knows what that's about
They say there was hundreds of sheets of poems
scattered around.
All were depressing or so they say
She was my friend, and I knew that she's be up one day
And cry and cry the next.
But we all know what a Drama Queen she was
We laughted about it,
guess it wasn't as funny to her as it was to us
She stayed on the computer day and night,
never slept maybe ten minutes at a time.
Was if she were waiting,
we went through the computer and didn't find a sign,
Found where she'd written about a Rock Concert she been to,
sounded like she'd never benn happier in her life.
I wish she'd told me she was so unhappy
Depression, runs in that family.
I know the secrets that can never be told,
glad I got to the computer before it got cold
I don't think she cared any more
but I know this woman, she was full of life
been protected and cherished, now no one could/would help her
through this difficult time.
Good night Diva I wish you would have called me.
Then none of this had to happen,
I think your faith in humainity had been shaken,
and you'd fotgot there would be a brighter day,
Because your favorite expression was;
" This too shall Pass ".
