Dawn's delightful forest dance

A misty haze hangs like a chiffon shawl across the forest floor. Its habitat creatures greet the morning with a passing glance as they forage for today's breakfast. The rising sun attempts to break through a jigsaw of branches, creating sunbeams scattering in all directions.
Spring has not yet visited and the bare branches of the deciduous trees make the mist and sunbeams dance with the new dawn. A silence absorbs any stimuli other than this hypnotic visual awareness. Nature greets the day as only nature can. Birds perch on the gnarled branches preparing themselves for a chorus that will supply the music for the mystic forest dance.
Many shades change as the sun rises, burning off the mist as it ascends from the forest floor. Deeper within the forest the disappearing darkness is arched with the colourful prism of a rainbow as it bridges the emptiness of the clearing. Bare branches clasp the hands of their shadow creating movement and grace in the elevating evanescence of the morning mist.
A dark contrast of the moss as it hides from the sun, appears to make the trees absorb and digest the pervading light as it attempts to bring daylight to the wooded sanctuary. This is but a passing treat being able to witness the delightful dance between dawn and forest. As the birds begin with their morning serenade, to welcome in a new day, we also sing the praises of mother nature's reveille.
