When sins are forgiven,
There is no longer need;
Sacrifice to Heaven,
For the sins to recede.
The blood of Jesus Christ,
Allowing us to go;
Since He was sacrificed,
The debt no longer owe.
Christ opened a new way,
For us to keep living;
If confessed whence we stray,
God is so forgiving.
We go through the curtain,
Nothing hid in His place;
The high priest for certain,
Is ready to embrace.
Just like a misty rain,
As sprinkled with His blood;
No longer guilt or pain,
Sins cleaned out from the flood.
Clean water that is pure,
Washed our conscience out;
Giving us a new cure,
To take away the doubt.
With strong faith and true heart,
We must still come to Him;
As His Word will not part,
Keeps us from feeling grim.
We must always hold firm,
Our faith to declare;
Staying for the long term,
Showing how much we care.
