Remembering Aunt Essie's Concord Grapevine

Years ago when I was about ten or eleven we had traveled there to see Aunt Essie.
In the back of her home is a concord grapevine with globs of grapes; upon it.
The taste was very distinct and was something I really enjoyed tasting.
I was a loner for most of my life and it was so today that I had gone out to the grapevine.
No one was with me and I had a time of picking off the grapes as much as I could place; in my mouth.
Was an experience I will never forget for I was at home with being there.
There was a love that she expressed to both my parents and brother plus myself.
I am elated in thinking of this occurrence and sharing it with you.
IF  you have ever tasted of the concord grapes you will know it is different than the usual taste you will get at the store.
This is a special time for me knowing my parents were alive and well.
They are both gone today and my heart is saddened because of the loss.
Still, in thinking of the grapevine there is  a peace that I love to have and remember.
