'' To Go Where No One Has Gone Before ''
What we know of the universe is too small to mention,
It will always be an unknown dimension,
Perhaps that was always the creator's intention,
No species would ever get to the core.
They say space is endless but how do they know,
Others say each second it continues to grow,
Every day what we see is a magnificent show,
Yet we have a desperate thirst to explore.
We've been sending out probes for many years,
Man walked on the Moon to Mars he now steers,
The question to ask is will it all end in tears,
As we strive to destroy even more.
It takes us three days just to get to the moon,
Is this the starting point to a new commune?
Landing on Mars won't be anytime soon,
It's not as if you are moving next door.
As the planet we live on is being destroyed,
When will our scientist's brains be deployed?
We've more chance of being hit by an asteroid,
Will common sense ever come to the fore?
The Earth is dying due to Human greed,
Mother Nature is warning us she's starting to bleed,
It's to saving our planet we have a need,
What we were given we need to restore.
Instead of wasting money on the impossible dream,
Spend the funds here on a survival scheme,
Though what we have done we can never redeem,
With Mother Nature we can create a rapport.
We will never come to terms with the vastness of space,
Ignoring what we have here is to our disgrace,
It's a false ambition of the Human Race,
