there was an orphan rabbit decided he would roam
hoping maybe somewhere he could find a home
he roamed around the country searching everywhere
to try and find a home and someone who would care
he just needed love he was alone
all he ever wanted was a home to call his own
he came across a farm in the countryside
and walked through the gates that were open wide
there he saw a cottage with a roof of straw
rabbit he walked up and knocked upon the door
answered by the farmer he never met before
he told him what he wanted what he was looking for
farmer he liked pets now rabbit had a home
someone who would love him and no longer would he roam
now he his so happy he found someone to love
he thanked his lucky stars and the good lord up above
