Wonderful  Are the Memories

Wonderful are the memories of a childhood where love was always there.
A time when the Lord was highly regarded and worshipped was my day.
The Scriptures were a part of our lives and especially at Christmas time.
I remember the days when the local school system would have devotions.
It came to be my turn one morning to have them with my classmates.
Wonderful are the memories of such a time.
Life was so uncomplicated and all things were well with the world.
It was a time for loving and feeling the love returned.
I am glad the Lord allowed me to be reared the time I was for today there seemingly is no hope of spiritual things; in our lives.
The President has declared our National Day of Prayer be suspended.
When we need to ever pray and ask God's blessings; upon our lives and we are suspending the day is simply ludicrous.
What has America come to of late that we forget the simple things of life?
It is something wrong here and it is not getting any better but worse as the time wears.
Give your all to Jesus; in all of your dealings with mankind and be not afraid of claiming the Lord as your all in all.
