I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Holding Unto the Intangibles
Here, in this world, are many things we can put our hands upon.
But what of the intangibles that we should hold unto for dear life.
Things like love, friendship and kindness all come to mind.
These are things you can't touch with your hands but know inside with your heart.
These are the things that really matter; in this life.
For they are the only things that will stand the tests of time.
Be comforted if you have them and are holding unto them.
Make mention of the positives that are ours for the asking.
Be of good courage and accept the intangibles; in your life as something most valued and unique.
Do so with the heart of love and you will be ahead of the game.
Consider the many things that will fall apart over time when the intangibles will be lasting.
Do so with the help of the Lord and you will be utterly blessed for holding unto the intangibles.
