More than just once, upon my mind By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Just yesterday or so it seems
I lived my life much filled with dreams
Dreams of old still come to mind
Dreams clung to forever mine
They come and dance warming my soul
This very day the past would mold
A fragile heart that beats of her
Life song still sung, upon me stirs
A brief moment that runs its course
Of love the kind, of one's life force
A piece, a slice of much briefed lived
As time moved on as we both did
No fairy tale dear friend I'd say
But truth confessed two souls would pay
Admission to the core of one
Deep is this place in everyone
Miss much to do and still my mind
Races this race of then and time
Becomes so warm it almost feels
As once it did, so very real
Yes once upon my mind she'd be
The best, the one that made up me
As all love stories come to end
Some bitter sweet, far from pretend
More than just once, upon my mind
More than just once, upon my mind
