A Childhood Experience

The experience is when I was introduced to the dangerous things that are around.
I was at the  age of seven  years of age when I saw what was  a soft drink.
I took the bottle it was in and held it up to my mouth.
What I found was not a cola but a combustible.
It was kerosene that I had consumed.
I needed to have medical attention provided.
And my parents were at odds for one wanted to help and the other felt I had known better but chose not to adhere to the right thing.
I got the medical attention and was okay afterward.
Having learned my lesson, I never did this type thing again.
I know what it could mean and I had to learn from my experience and did.
The Lord was looking out for me at that  young age.
He receives the praise today for having helped me to get the help I needed.
