Arrogance
Any proud people can be humbled
Any humble people can be proud
Down in the low valley
arrogant birds stumbled
To the delight of the rumbustious crowd
The fair justice of men have crumbled
The falling stones are so loud
In the overburden alley
thirsty stomachs rumbled
Waiting for the gentleness of the cloud
O how the high have fallen so low
Wise men hug history tight
and never let it go
But forgetful men alway fumble
And give the advantage to the foe
