Poetic-Verses

'' There's Trouble In Store ''

To go where no one has gone before,
Don't you find it really unfair?
When they arrive it hurts to the core,
As there's always someone there.

Billions of miles of exploration,
To try and find new life,
Their mission to find a new creation,
Then causes them nothing but strife.

They all look similar with arms and legs,
Their command of English does astound,
The ultimate question this then begs,
Will a new species ever be found?

Klingons, Kardassians, Ferengi too,
They live and breed much the same,
Are we all part of a universal crew?
Taking part in a Gods great game.

They travel the universe in fancy craft,
Their lives are to be enjoyed,
Very few of them if any are daft,
As they all seem to be fully employed.

All these life forms are, as we know it,
Doesn't anyone find that strange?
Too scared to question it in case we blow it,
The answers could well derange.

They live and breathe its oxygen they need,
They drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes,
With respective partners they have to breed,
This could end in serious regrets.

Just like Humans they all have a desire,
To do something which may perplex,
Is it possible we could light each others fire,
Then engage in some alien sex.

The fact of the matter is we are not alone,
There are billions of life forms galore,
From interbreeding it has clearly been shown,
For our future,
