I Recall a Childhood Memory

The time was Christmastime and the snow lay deep;  upon the ground.
There was the time for me donning my gloves and my hat.
The coldness, of the air, made me shiver as I was outside for a time.
I knew of the neighbors having a lot of fun; in the snow.
I was excited myself to be out there and having a good time eating the snow.
It was time for me to get back inside and face the day as I was ready for school,.
The bus was delayed for about an hour so I still had time to get back outside.
The joy of this time was something memorable to me and I recall it well.
There was about five feet of snow; upon the ground.
I know it is an awful lot but it was there nonetheless.
I was; at the time, six foot and one inch tall.
So I didn't have much to go before being swallowed by the snow.
I didn't care; at the time and enjoyed the freedom we had with it snowing
The Lord gave us a heavy snow this time and was a beautiful sight to see.
I will treasure the memory of this snow and the fun I had.
I pass it unto you and hope that you have a similar occurrence yourself.
