Deep where thoughts are never spoken
Hid inside of heart near broken
Lay secrets of past and present
Some filled with hope and some unpleasant
There she keeps her needs and dreams
So much still loved upon them weans
To so survive another day
To sustain life she too would say
Her mind at ease will draw the shade
Of life, such things that made their way
Into a soul scarred to degree
A soul searching much more indeed
Tell me your secrets so I can write
A word or two to free this night
Your heart searching for breath in need
A comfort sought to intercede
Though chance I will to lose myself
Inside of you if nothing else
I would have held your hand and felt
Secrets now mine, my heart you'd melt
