The Rainbow Dance

To my grandchild Maddie and great grandchild, her daughter Mia, on seeing a photo of them with a rainbow playing over their faces, just couldn`t resist. xxx

Playing with a rainbow,
Its shining on my face,
and when I move a little bit,
it finds another place,
the colours are so lovely
they make us look so good,
I think I`ll steal this rainbow
and take it to the wood.
Among the trees I`ll throw the light
and watch the rainbow dance,
greens and blues and purples,
it`s put me in a trance.
I love my little rainbow
I`ll share it with my mum,
it puts a sparkle in her eyes
so I will give her some.
Happy little rainbow,
do not run away,
Come and see us all again,
in fact, why don`t you stay.
