Poetic-Verses

'' Your Wisdom Will Continue To Flow ''

What is this thing we call life all about,
You're either rich or you must go without,
Born then death is the only way out,
With little say on how you go.

The learning years and puberty then follow,
Your teacher's promises you look on as hollow,
Politician's pledges are hard to swallow,
You have a desire to be in the know.

You work hard at school and get a good education,
Your pass marks fill you up with elation,
For the future you've laid a good foundation,
You now watch your reputation grow.

You go out to work to earn your keep,
As for debt you never get in too deep,
Buying your first home is one major leap,
But it really gives you a glow.

Then you start to learn about the opposite sex,
What you find out really does perplex,
You find the subject too complex,
Life is short so take it slow.

When you get married and have kids of your own,
They then copy the seeds you have sown,
Repeating your journey into the unknown,
Adds a valuable string to their bow.

If you have learned the meaning of respect,
You'll know your loved ones you must always protect,
How you treat others has a profound effect,
It helps keep relationships in tow.

What life's all about you have now achieved,
You remained true and strong and never deceived,
In honesty and integrity you always believed,
Love Is What You Did Bestow

That knowledge about life you have always yearned,
Being held in regard just has to be earned,
The legacy you've left is what others have learned,
