I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Loving Heart of My Mom
Mom always had an innate love within her.
She exhibited that love first to my dad.
Then to my brother then myself.
Mom always knew the concerns of our hearts for she knew when something was wrong.
There was no fooling Mom at all.
I remember the times I had left Mom to be by herself.
It saddens me today to know I was so cruel.
But Mom never stopped loving me for my mistakes.
She embraced me more than one time for consolation.
I remember so well the love of Mom and the heart she had within her.
I thank the Lord for the blessing Mom was to me and miss her today for she is now in Heaven.
The Lord took her away for His own reasons.
I believe it was to protect Mom from heartbreak.
