A Home I Remember

There was a home we had when  I was ten years of age.
It was a home made of asbestos shingles and was a threat to our health but didn't know it at the time.
It was a loving home for Mom and Dad gave us the love that we needed and wanted.
There were never anything we ever needed that we didn't receive.
One Christmas we received everything we wanted for the holiday.
It was a special time for us and the love was always there.
A home to remember is this home for love was always there.
No matter the situation as they came along ever took us away from the love that was freely given.
Mom and Dad made sure that my brother and I were always loved.
Even in the time of chastisement there was love to help us to be better than we were.
I am remembering this home today and sharing it with  you, my readers.
Maybe you recall a home like this when you were growing too.
If so then you know the love was always there for you.
