Mind Your Elders

Good advice to the children of today.
For they have no regard for their elders  but only contempt.
This is not true with all children but most feel this way.
I am glad I was reared the time I was for I had a chance of minding my elders with favor.
The Lord knew my  years of upbringing were going to be the best  years of my life.
I was taught to mind my elders and never give them any grief.
There was  a deep respect for the adults; in my life.
The teachers were looked up to and revered.
I have to say I was able to get along with most of the teachers I had while learning.
Minding my elders was a special gift I was able to give back to those older than myself.
The parents I had always made sure I was obedient to them and the other adults; in our lives.
This is a great lesson to be learned and one to cherish.
