I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Nine Years And Two Months Ago
My dad, Mr. Gennis Ervin Brickhouse, Sr. passed away.
It has been nine years and two months ago as of the first day of the month.
I am still grieving for the loss of my dad and wish to honor him with this piece.
He was a man of whom was always dedicated to the family.
He tirelessly worked to keep the needs supplied.
Was a man who also gave us some of our wants as his sons.
It is a sad thing to do without your dad and mom as I have had to do.
But the comforting thing is I will be seeing them again in Heaven.
For I have made my preparations for Heaven some years ago.
I believe the Lord when He said He would save me as I came to Him.
He cannot lie and I am so much better because of it .
Dad did believe the same and is now in Heaven waiting for us to join him.
I wish to honor you, Dad, today for the great man you were and the love you freely gave us was the best we could have hoped.
