the vision

i saw a man in white walking on the sand
he looked straight at me then held out his hand
it felt oh so strange but i felt oh so calm
everything felt tranquil i felt safe from harm
then he walked with me along the golden sand
he took me to a place he called the promise land

he began to preach how it used to be
when he was here on earth and his life was free
told me of his father high up in the sky
and to bring us peace  he would have to die.

then he disappeared to the heavens up above
my heart began to melt i felt so much love
the vision that i had seemed so vey odd
the man that i had walked with was the son of god
