 The Mind Speaks

Revolver relief

He extracted the revolver from it's case
Pointed it up in the air
Placed 1 bullet in the hole
Wondering...why was life so unfair
He spun the revolver one good spin
And placed it to his head
As he pulled the trigger, heard a loud bang
His spirit lifted,
He must be dead
His body fell gracefully to the sheets
Peace...silence
He'd conquered all defeats
Tears started to roll down his cheeks
As he realized he still could feel
The relief overwhelming
Now possibly he could heal.
