Bless the ones who are forgiven,
For they shall be seeing Heaven;
God will pardoned all of their sin,
The Holy Spirit cleanse within.
But in order for God to bless,
A person must go and confess;
Citing the things that he did wrong,
So agony will not prolong.
Bless who the Lord no longer blames,
About the sinful acts that shames;
And has no more deceitful thoughts,
No more corruption that he plots.
When I kept silent of my sin,
I felt very weak deep within;
Because the groaning all day long,
Just made the agony prolong.
Day and night I could feel His hand,
Ever since I broke His command;
My strength shriveled in summer heat,
As the sand was burning my feet.
I made all my sins known to Him,
Since it made me to feel so grim;
I no longer covered my guilt,
And razed the foundation it built.
So I confessed unto the Lord,
He would not let it be ignored;
For He then forgave all my sin,
As His Spirit had cleansed within.
That is why godly people pray,
And can never hide when you stray;
God already knows so put your trust,
Since He is merciful and just.
