Demons Don't Kill They Steal

If I'm alive.
Demons will bring you down to feel like a failure now.

When there is strength in numbers.
Demons create divisions between each other.

Demons are there
behind the scenes
tooling our lives
to find only the
extreme truths
and the harshest facts.

Until the highs
are met with lows
until you can't get up,
til you give up on
making sense.

Voices of negativity
are all that is left,
jokes at your expense.

Seems silly to those
telling it for a laugh,
didn't think twice.
We all got to have a gas.

But they just might.
And you might as well.
That maybe demons don't kill they steal your joy.
Or at least make that joy for you, cruel isn't cool.
