wordrider's world
FROM HIS EYE
The tear fell from his eye,
As it took her a moment to realize.
So, high up,
Suffering he had enough.
For a moment the sky turned black,
And then that was that.
His eyes closed, his head dropped,
As his heart beat stopped.
She felt the tear on her face,
Hoping her fear wouldn't find a place.
Hoping he would find rest.
After he went through this test.
In her heart knowing,
How much his love was showing.
Now, from her he was gone,
Would she be able to be strong.
Now, she look up at him on the cross,
She was already feeling the loss.
Now, Jesus was his name,
and saving our souls was no game.
As it took her a moment to realize.
So, high up,
Suffering he had enough.
For a moment the sky turned black,
And then that was that.
His eyes closed, his head dropped,
As his heart beat stopped.
She felt the tear on her face,
Hoping her fear wouldn't find a place.
Hoping he would find rest.
After he went through this test.
In her heart knowing,
How much his love was showing.
Now, from her he was gone,
Would she be able to be strong.
Now, she look up at him on the cross,
She was already feeling the loss.
Now, Jesus was his name,
and saving our souls was no game.
