The Crucifxion Remains In Our Hearts

Every year at this time we are reminded of the crucifixion of Jesus.
He died an agonizing death for all of mankind.
The pain He went through is something I couldn't have bared.
The nails that went through His wrists and feet and the crown of thorns He wore.
Not to forget the blood He shed for us.
It behooves me to do my best for Jesus and tirelessly work to honor Him.
Not for salvation sake but for the pleasure of doing something for Jesus.
Mankind is prone to forget things that are important to them.
May we be cognizant and purposeful in remembering the crucifixion always.
Knowing as we do we show the Lord's death as in the communion we partake.
Be mindful of doing the right things and be wise in your heart.
Always trusting God for the things we desire; in this life.
Knowing that He is willing to give us these things as we trust Him.
May we never forget the crucifixion but always be mindful of it year around.
