the fix

fix him fix her fix them
fix that

stitch/tweak/reprogram/
God help us
not to skin the cat

but some think
the whole world's screaming
to be fixed

getting fixed has
fine connotations
and
meanings bad

you can be convinced
the fix is lovely
or the fix can
be had
its priceless
or not
low or high
without that fix
see how far
you get by

is the price
literal or human
multiplied

fix fix fix
maxim to live
maxim to survive
or maybe even just
let yourself die
to be
fixed

always the why of
perfection
oh to be
happily
the perennial selection

nip/tuck
fast/deny
edit/delete
cancel/buy-buy-buy

pursuant is the need
to feed
to bleed
to please

be
compelled
to launch us
into the fix
of greed

the bony grist
turns the factory mill
of this disease
of
the fix.
