Through earthquakes and storms,
tornados and blizzards,
"SHE DID IT HER WAY"
when times got rough,
she go rougher;
when life seemed unbearable,
she dug deeper.
Into the center of her soul to garb hold
of life and expose it for the world to hold;
"SHE DID IT HER WAY"
but not without placing God first,
many of days and plenty of nights
I saw her reading her Bible
and reciting scriptures.
when my brother picked me up from college
and I almost killed us in a car wreck,
I could not comprehend how we survived that scene.
when we got home...Moms was on bent knees.
Her prayers saved our lives...that much I know
"SHE DID IT HER WAY"
but God was the nucleus of her soul.
"SHE DID IT HER WAY"
my Mom was supreme,
she lived out her dreams,
she never met a stranger
and they all treated her kind
