Those who trust in the Lord,
Can never be shaken;
Being in one accord,
And never forsaken.
It stays firm forever,
Like walls around a fort;
His arm will not sever,
Giving secured support.
Wicked kings not allowed,
To govern land reserved;
For any righteous crowd,
With righteousness preserved.
Do good unto the Lord,
He will do good to you;
Desires not ignored,
If your motives are true.
But if you are corrupt,
The Lord leads you away;
Since you have developed,
A need to go astray.
Let the peace in your heart,
Righteousness in your mind;
Never let it depart,
Remain gentle and kind.
For you faith brings you fear,
As your faith comes from trust;
And be cherished so dear,
Blocking the tempting lust.
As the mountains surround,
Like the Lord with His arms;
If faith hears any sound.
Keeps safe from all alarms.
