i saw a wise old owl looking down at me
sitting on the branches of big oak tree
with his big wide eyes he began to stare
straight in to my face he began to glare
he gave a little hoot as if to say hello.
it made feel so happy gave my heart a glow
he watched me for a while as i walked along
then he flew away with wings so big and strong.
i looked and waved goodbye as in the air he flew
watched him fly away in the sky so blue.
