The Change

When I saw you standing there
My friends sent me over as a dare
In which I should somehow create an impression
With then hold you in a long conversation

To my surprise I could feel my stomach insides
Fluttering with the intensity if a million butterflies
Indicating that the game was undergoing a conversion
And being replaced by a feeling of doting adoration

So therefore when I looked into your eyes
That sparkle in them made me realize
That I would certainly have to be a fool
To treat and used you like a tool

Oh! That warm welcoming smile that you gave
Made me so hungry and for you I certainly crave
Gone now is that form of puerile experimentation
And in its place of one conquered by affection
