I wait onto the Lord,
Why do I live for Him?
My call has He ignored?
That would make me feel grim.
In silence He draws near,
Like a thief in the night;
Vows made I hold dear,
That makes my day so bright.
I know He hears my prayer,
To Him as each one goes;
Everything I share,
From Him a blessing flows.
Some sins overwhelm me,
Makes hard for me to live;
But my confessions be,
Paid as He did forgive.
Such rebellious acts,
I have no excuse for;
He understands the facts,
And how Satan did lure.
Bless the one He selects,
For living in His home;
That one never neglects,
And not trying to roam.
God is our Savior,
Hope to all of the earth;
Looking down with favor,
Knows of our true worth.
Marvelous signs in awe,
As the morning sunrise;
Evening sunset will fall,
A vivid color prize.
