I blow a kiss to you my friend - and may it land with 
Gentleness upon your cheek - where the cold world has left
Its mark of harsh reproof - where life has felt the battering of words
That sting - May such a kiss undo the tempered - jagged edge - and shrill        
Of spite - and come to rest with feathered lightness - touched  by love -          
And   bring  you  peace  and  rest -  amidst the claims of
Deepest - troubled - sleepless - night .

If I could walk back through the tangled twists of time - and 
There undo the tempest's wrath - that shook the very roots of
Sorrow's blast - and give you peace and calm - to ease your  wounds -
I would my friend - but I can only place a hand of comfort on your 
Weary brow - and say a heaven-ward prayer - to lift you from 
The ruined past - and trust that soon all would be well - the 
Weeds of mourning gone at last - their power
To disturb - no more .

Oh that our hearts were made of steel - that could withstand 
The fiery trials that touch us to the very core - but then - we would 
Not know the gift of love - and gentleness of those who touch us with
Such tenderness - and whispers on the wind - of hope - like sparkling
Waves -  that lap with grace upon a sun-soaked shore - with
Promises to fill our hearts of flesh - with certain faith - and 
Longings and desires - for more . 

So catch the kiss I send you now my friend - it comes with love and 
Peace - to calm the inner storm - and may it gently find a resting place -
That does no harm - but breaks the curse of unforgiveness' grip - and then
It wraps you in a pure embrace of softest shades of mellow calm - and
There let it enfold  you in a sweet caress - as of a mother's loving
Arms - until the shadows and the brokenness are healed and
Gone - to never more return - 

but - lets you know - that  You Are Loved

May the love of God enfold you and ensure you that you 
are precious , and you are  loved with an everlasting love by 
the One who is Love .
