Clouds upon her journey
No one could see the burning
Feel the doubts and scars
Screaming at the moon
For hiding all the stars
The world to see but empty case
Tears lived upon her face
Never knew what to pack
All her stuff had no value
Shadowed voices held her back
Tried being a woman in every way
But ached keeping pain at bay
Then for her caterpillar wings did unfurl
Understood she did not break as a woman
But as a little girl
Peace restored her beauty
All destinations she could see
Mind travelled without a care
She never went to San Francisco
Just wore flowers in her hair
