That Discipline
How many governments would be certainly benefit
If on some of their committees a mother did sit
These ladies certainly demonstrated that they have the ability
To with very little effort make things run quite smoothly
In growing up was privilege to observe some more often
And in those days there were some very harsh conditions
It was like a miracle to see how them in this element
Still in those times still able to put away for that rainy day a cent
What was so fascinating was in those days of paying school fees
Even in that dire situation they still made it look like a breeze
Because there was a vegetable crop or an animal in the pasture
So there would be either reaping or selling to the butcher for slaughter
Often too there was the children going to see looking so neat and tidy
But did that the suit of clothes they have was that many
That only one was washed and hung out to dry overnight
Ironed and the morning and those clothes when worn looked such a beautiful sight
It is certainly sad to see how mother today with their children
At such early stage of life complaining that they cannot control them
How the mind flashed back to boy sometimes of a height over six feet
Had to show reverence when that little lady open her mouth to speak
But what have happened to bring the situation to this state
Have that love for materialistic thing the mind overtake
Being caught up in a needless rat race and trying to acquire
Those things sometime the latest but the model gets change in an hour
There is no one who does not want their children enjoy a quality of life
But this factor should depend on if ones income that could suffice
So tread with caution get that message across to your children
That there are priorities in almost each and every situation
