Smell the Blueberry PIes Through the Window

There was once a time for the family to go to the old  home place.
It was an unobtrusive experience of course and the joy was mounting with the children.
Upon arrival, the mother got to the kitchen and prepared the meal for the evening.
Inside the kitchen were a few pie shells in waiting invitation.
Rachel, the mother, got the pie shells and made some fresh blueberry pies.
The children could begin to smell the pies baking and their mouths watered.
Gennis, the dad, was all engulfed into the TV show.
It was an experience of happiness on everyone's part.
The parents enjoyed seeing the children playing and also wrestling.
The children was never more loved than they were today it seemed.
The pies continued to be prepared and the smell permeated the house.
Was a comforting time for the children to be nestled in their beds at the right moment.
While the parents remained awake.
The pies cooled; in the window.
Then the first piece was cut for Gennis and then the children.
Rachel hardly got any of the first pie but did the second.
Days were over for them and they had to return back to the city.
But not before the whole family had a time of devotion and another piece of pie.
